NexAira Wireless Launching the Business Class II High Availability Router
As this is a professional product, companies and ISPs should pay attention, as the new router that Nexaira Wireless Inc. has added to their line up is able to provide cellular 3G or 4G connections to any existing network. This router's name is rather short, Business Class II High Availability Router, hence the nickname BC-II.
“The BC-II will allow any size of business to integrate cellular network access into a wireline infrastructure,” stated Rusty Wright, VP of Product and Marketing, Nexaira, Inc.
Although it offers wireless cellular broadband, the BC-II also supports DSL, cable, Ethernet or T1, the more traditional types of networks out there. Other than the security and network protocols it provides, this router from Nexaira will also provide automatic fail over with anti-flap and Virtual Router Redundancy Protocols (VRRP).
It supports up to five VPNs (simultaneously) and can offer internet security IPSec style for these encrypted sessions that are starting to be more and more popular as internet traffic is in an ever growing state, as well as internet monitoring from Governments and companies such as Google.
Because it is mainly a 3G/4G cellular network router, the BC-II allows users to assign the mobile network as the default one even if they are in a remote location. It connects to HSPA and HSPA+ networks for AT&T, Verizon, etc. They say the XtremeSpeed technology will provide faster connection speeds for its users, but that is only decided by the ISP or the contract you have with them. February is the month when it will be available on the market.
So, this here is another solution for building a 3G/4G network over an existing one. A very simple one, I might add, as you just need one of these routers added and you will be able to safely surf the internet from mobile devices while also having access to the newly installed connection from remote locations.
