    tere chehare se ham pardaa uThaa dete to kyaa hotaa
    muhabbat bhii tijaarat ho gayii hai is zamaane meN
    agar ye raaz duniyaa ko bataa dete to kyaa hotaa

    terii ummiid par jiine se haasil kuch nahiiN lekin
    agar yuuNhii na dil ko aasaraa dete to kyaa hotaa
